Visitors

At the end of the 18th century, the first visitors came to the mountains. The mountain huts are gradually transformed into tourist huts and the valley settlements are transformed into tourist centres. Today, the Krkonoše Mountains are a popular area for summer and winter tourism. Its location, easy accessibility and good tourist infrastructure make it one of the five most visited national parks in the world.
