The best way to understand what "tundra" is is bad weather.

The tundra is a place where the climate is such that not even a forest grows. On the ridge route, you will learn about the dead that the tundra destroyed, how the tundra farmers (didn't) do well and who, on the other hand, rammed the tundra into the ground.

The easiest access is from Růžohorky, which can be reached by cable car from Pec pod Sněžkou. Not suitable for prams etc.
