There is an increased risk of spontaneous fall of branches and trees throughout the National Park, where the laws of nature govern the formation and termination of trees. Enter the forest at your own risk!
Nature conservation guards are the contact link between the Krkonoše National Park Administration and the public. Their work is beneficial for visitors, the local population and for other departments of the KRNAP Administration. On the mountains you will meet rangers in green uniforms who, among other things, also take care of the paths and equipment in the field for visitors.
The rangers are a helping hand for visitors, but they can also impose fines if legal standards for nature protection are exceeded.
Most rangers are members of the professional organization Association of Nature Rangers of Protected Areas of the Czech Republic. This serves for their education and exchange of experiences.
